Gel for all nail types

Wendy is an award-winning Nail Technician with over 25 years experience. She has trained with brands such as CND, Magnetic Nail Design, Young Nails and LCN. The salon policy is to adhere to strict, service protocols. Therefore, all manufacturer instructions are followed and ONLY using the recommended lamps with each brand.

Nail treatment procedures

Wendy has a variety of brands to choose from accommodating every type of nail plate, life style and aesthetic choice. For all nail extensions and gel polishing treatments, Magnetic Nail design and CND are used. The client’s natural nail health is considered throughout our nail services. In addition, we also include Magnetic’s patented Seal and Protect strengthening treatment for weak, peeling or damaged nails. Builder gels are growing in popularity, giving client’s more choice of nail length and longevity of service. Wendy offers Magnetic’s New Builder Gel Blend and CND Plexigel as an upgrade to your regular gel polish manicure.

Alternative products for strong nails

Every nail type needs different care. CND Shellac was the salon’s first gel polish (even though it is a hybrid) and remains popular for those that seek regular and quick removal. It also works fantastically well on medium to strong nail types.

Radio Frequency and Electroporation combined

The salon’s newest addition of electrical treatments is a non-surgical, skin rejuvenation, anti-aging and painless treatment that utilises radio frequency energy waves to realign fibres within the skin back to a more even and structured pattern, improving both the tone and appearance and reversing the effects of skin aging. Whilst Electroporation (or needle free mesotherapy) allows for deeper penetration of active and low molecular ingredients such as: –

How does it work?

After preparing with a deep, enzymatic peel, a nourishing, low molecular weighted essence is layered onto your skin. The Electroporation pulses  is delivered through a hand piece, making the skin cells more permeable to this essence.

After the electroporation, the same hand piece delivers radio frequency; gently heating the lower layers of your skin  from 38-40 degrees, this will stimulate the production of Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid. It feels soothing, relaxing and some even fall asleep!

How many treatments do I need?

Results will vary, some people see an immediate difference. Although it’s worth remembering that the effects of RF are progressive, accumulative and your personal results will take up to 12 weeks to develop. Wendy does recommend a course of six  to eight to be performed once a week followed by a maintenance session every 5-6 weeks to maximise results.
